As part of our estimating process, we come to your home or business and size the equipment according the square footage being conditioned. Proper sizing is essential to producing a comfortable living space as well as ensuring your new Mini Split will operate efficiently and with optimal longevity.
Installation of your ductless split system requires knowledge of home construction as well as the technical aspects of refrigerant vapor pressures. Our technicians have a combined 50 years of building construction knowledge to ensure the job gets done right and always with quality in mind.
Included in your new split system there will be an electrical connection from your main panel to the out side of your house called a "disconnect." This allows a technician to physically disconnect the exterior and interior portions of the mini split system from power and provide a safe working environment. Seacoast Mini Splits maintains close working relationships with electricians around the seacoast who provide this detail of our service.
The founders of Seacoast Mini Splits have decades of experience in residential construction from frame to finish. As such, they are fully capable of putting back together what may have to come apart to ensure a proper installation. Carpentry project inquiries are welcome and will be considered.
A clean ductless split system is a happy one. A free deep cleaning is included with your purchase. After a year of use, we will schedule a visit to visually inspect and test the system as well as give it a good cleaning.
A five year parts and one year labor warranty is included with your new installation.
ABOUT US
We are solely, a ductless mini split installation and maintenance company. The chief operators of this business are life long carpenter/builders who have decided to start something new. As builders, and project managers, over the past few years, it became evident that customers were requesting Mini Split systems at an increasing rate due to their energy cost savings, and relative ease of installation as compared to ducted systems. It also became evident that getting an HVAC company to a project became more and more difficult due to their high demand and scarcity of technicians. We have chosen to specify within the HVAC world and as such focus directly on ductless Mini Splits. This allows us to develop and streamline our process which benefits the customer with cost savings, efficient service and reliability.
Steve and I received our education at The New Hampshire School of Mechanical Trades in Hampton NH. We graduated with certifications as air conditioning technicians, and went on to take the Environmental Protection Agencies national exam on refrigerant gasses known as the 608. We both achieved its highest ranking of Universal Technician during this process.
